Sal Jafarace was awarded four letters as a member of the wrestling team. He earned All-American honors for his sixth-place finish at the NCAA Division III Championships.
Jafarace posted a career overall record of 113-40-1. He was a three-time regional champion and a three-time national qualifier. He was the first Tomcat wrestler to reach a 100-win total. He was a recipient of the Rich Luchette Memorial Award, an honor that is voted on by the wrestler’s peers and coaching staff and presented to each year’s top senior wrestler who demonstrates the necessary hard work and dedication of becoming a champion.Â
