Thiel College is located on a 135-acre campus in Greenville, Pa., a small town in the heart of Western Pennsylvania's hill country. Only 90 minutes from Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Erie, Thiel offers ready access to big-city culture while remaining distant enough to be safe and free from distractions.

Founded in 1866

History

Founded as co-educational Thiel Hall in Monaca, Pa., in 1866; chartered by Pennsylvania in 1870 and moved to Greenville in 1871. Thiel College is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
