THIEL COLLEGE ATHLETICS QUICK FACTS
LOCATION
Thiel College is located on a 135-acre campus in Greenville, Pa., a small town in the heart of Western Pennsylvania's hill country. Only 90 minutes from Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Erie – Thiel has the ready access to "big city" culture but is distant enough to be safe and free from distractions.
HISTORY
Founded as a co-educational Thiel Hall in Monoca, Pa., In 1866; chartered by Pennsylvania in 1870 and moved to Greenville in 1871. Thiel College is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Thiel College currently has approximately 380 student-athletes enrolled across 22 varsity teams on campus.
NCAA DIVISION III
Division III is the largest of the NCAA's three divisions with over 430 members. Academic scholarships based on scholarly accomplishments are permitted.
