Eric Garrett earned four letters as a member of the baseball team. He served as co-captain during the 1988 season and earned All-PAC accolades each of his four years as a shortstop. Prior to the 1999 season (when baseball seasons were limited to just 18 games) Garrett ranked among the top 10 career leaders in hits, batting average and field percentage. At the time of his induction, Garrett’s 1987 team held the program record for best single-season winning percentage, finishing the season 14-4 (.778).
