Marian Mosser, a three-sport Thiel athlete, made the most of every opportunity afforded to her in the athletic arena. Mosser was a four-year letter winner and starter on the women’s basketball and volleyball teams and a one-year letter winner on the men’s tennis team.
On the hardwood, Mosser was a defensive star while helping the cagers to a 33-game winning streak. She was also a member of the 1970-71 women’s basketball team that was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1977. Mosser was also a standout during the formative season of the women’s volleyball program and was one of two women competing in tennis during her senior season.
