Thiel College Athletics

Frank Herbenick began his football career during his high school years at Butler High. He lterred in golf and football and was a member of the WPIAC championship football team in 1950. During his career at Thiel, he earned four letters in football, two in baseball and one in golf. As co-captain playing right tackle, he helped lead the 1954 football team to a 5-2 finish. He held the position of right tackle for three years.
