Mike Lewis was a four-year letter winner and a two-time captain of the wrestling team. Finishing his career with a 147-25-2 record, he holds the record for most victories in school history. Lewis put together one of the most successful single-season runs, amassing a 50-2 record his senior year. Appearing in 35 tournaments, he totaled 22 first-place finishes, five second-place finishes and four third-place finishes. He was a three-time regional champion, three-time national qualifier and two-time All-American, placing seventh as a junior and third as a senior. During his senior season, he was named the Thiel MVP wrestler and the PAC Wrestler of the Year.
