Darrell Satterfield '06 (Orwell, Ohio / Grand Valley) made the All-PAC Second Team in 2005 as he captained the Tomcats to the PAC Championship and NCAA Playoffs as quarterback. He was an All-PAC Honorable Mention in 2004.
Satterfield holds the Thiel career record for completion percentage (58.4) and is in the top five in touchdown passes, pass efficiency rating, passing yards, completions, attempts and total offense.
In 2005, he set Thiel season records in passing yards (2,804) and touchdown passes (25) while his 2,789 yards of total offense were the third most in program lore. He tied the school single-game touchdown passes record (six) at Carnegie Mellon, a 50-48 triple-overtime Tomcats victory.
