GREENVILLE, Pa. (April 13) -- The Thiel College Men's Volleyball Team will take on Dominican University (Ill.) Thursday at 7:30 p.m. EST in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament Play-In Round at Carthage University in Kenosha, Wis.

Coming off its second-straight Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship, Thiel is making its second-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, becoming the first program in school history to do so.

The Tomcats claimed the PAC title with a 3-1 win over Chatham University last Saturday, setting a new program single-season wins record with 23. The Cats also set a program record with three victories over nationally ranked opponents and entered the AVCA Coaches' Poll at No. 20 on Feb. 3 for their first national ranking since 2014. Thiel climbed as high as No. 17 the following week.

Dominican captured the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Championship with a 3-0 upset of top-seeded Milwaukee School of Engineering on Sunday. The Stars enter the NCAA Tournament with a 22-5 record and are making their first appearance since 2024.
