GREENVILLE, Pa. (Sept. 3) -- The Thiel College men's volleyball program will hold a Sporting Clay Shooting Competition fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Sandy Creek Conservancy in Polk, Pa.

Registration for the event will begin at 8 a.m., with the competition scheduled to start at 9 a.m. The cost is $75 per participant and includes participation in the sporting clay competition and lunch.

The event will be held at Sandy Creek Conservancy, located at 688 Polk Cutoff in Polk. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Thiel men's volleyball program and its student-athletes.

In addition to the sporting clay competition, 5 Stand and other games will be available on site. Those activities are not included in the registration fee, and participants interested in taking part are encouraged to bring cash.

The competition will be operated and managed by Sandy Creek Conservancy. All participants must follow the venue's safety procedures and participation requirements and complete all required waivers and documentation prior to participating.

The Tomcats have won back-to-back Presidents' Athletic Conference championships and have qualified for the NCAA Tournament in each of the last two seasons, becoming the first team in school history to do so.
