NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. – The Thiel College men's volleyball team had 12 student-athletes named to the 2023 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Academic All-Conference and Peak Performers team.
Student-athletes must earn a 3.2 grade point average (GPA) or higher through the Fall 2022 semester, earning Academic All-Conference honors.
Student-athletes with a 3.5 grade-point average or higher earn Peak Performer honors.

Ethan Cooper (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township),
Jake Dies (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs),
Nick Koorsen (North Myrtle Beach, S.C./Shaler Area),
Josh Hovan (Baden, Pa./Ambridge),
Tyler Hussey (Irwin, Pa./Norwin),
Cameron Long (Rock Hill, S.C./Legion Collegiate Academy),
Connor McInnis (Southington, Conn./Southington),
Kaleb Proudfoot (Butler, Pa./Butler),
Josh Pugh (Wexford, Pa./Pine Richland),
Jacob Smeltzer (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) and
Zac Smith (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks) were all named to the AMCC All-Conference Academic team.
The Tomcats finished the season with a 10-3 AMCC record, their best conference record since 2019. They also made an AMCC Championship Tournament semifinal appearance, before falling to Geneva.
