Box Score HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Thiel College men's volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) win Saturday. The Tomcats took down the Royals of Eastern Mennonite University by set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-15.
The Tomcats improve to 12-14 and 5-2 in CVC play, while the Royals fall to 11-11 and 1-6 in the CVC.

John Turner (Cambridge Springs, Pa./Cambridge Springs) paced the Thiel offensive effort by hitting .643 with nine kills on 14 attempts and no errors. Defensively, a pair of Tomcats notched double-digit dig totals, including junior libero
Colin Vitale (Pittsburgh, Pa./Montour), who racked up a team-high 11 digs. Senior outside hitter
Andrew Pohlod (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) added 10 digs.

Corey Hamilton (Meadville, Pa./Maplewood) dished out a team-high 18 assists in the win. Fellow senior
Kyle Turkalj (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Area) chipped in seven kills and two block assists, while Pohlod, juniors
Michael Whitelock (Pittsburgh, Pa./Schenley) and
Dylan Lasher (Ford City, Pa./Elderton) finished with five kills each.
Thiel returns to action Wednesday, March 26 when they travel to Huntingdon, Pa. to take on the #1-ranked Juniata College Eagles. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
