NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (April 11) -- The Thiel College Track and Field Teams competed at the Westminster Invite Friday and Saturday.
Analeise Burns (Indiana, Pa./Marion Center) highlighted the Tomcats in New Wilmington as she finished 10th with a PR in the hammer throw at 38.47m. Her mark in the hammer throw is third-best in the conference. Burns was 26th in the shot put at 9.70m.
In distance,
Nathaniel Turner (Conneaut Lake, Pa./Conneaut Area) PRd in the 1,500m at 4:18.62s to place 17th in a 60-runner field.
In sprints,
John Bresnan (Greenville, Pa./Reynolds) Prd in the 200m at 23.20s to place 16th of 55 runners.
Brady Wear (Kinsman, Ohio/Joseph Badger) also PRd in the 200m at 24.12s.
In throws,
Elijah Butterly (Homer City, Pa./Homer Center) PRd in the discus at 27.36m and and hammer throw at 27.77m while
Cadin Rex (Knox, Pa./Keystone) had a PR in the shot put 11.33m.
Both squads are back in action next Friday and Saturday for Baldwin Wallace's Sparky Adams Invite.
