McMillen announces fall Men's, Women's Golf schedules

GREENVILLE, Pa. (Aug. 7) -- Thiel College Men's and Women's Golf Head Coach Dan McMillen '86 announced the Tomcats' 2025 fall schedules Thursday morning. Both sides will take place in several competitive invitationals before completing the first two rounds of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Champions in early October.

Men's Schedule Highlights

The men's team opens the fall season at the Pitt-Bradford Invitational on Aug. 30, held at Pennhills Club. Thiel will then compete at Latrobe Country Club on Sept. 8 in the Saint Vincent Invitational.

The Tomcats return to action Sept. 21-22 for the Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Invitational, hosted by Allegheny at The Country Club of Meadville.

Thiel will then play in the Westminster Invitational at Avalon Field Club before competing in the Grove City Invitational on Sept. 29 at Grove City Country Club.

The men wrap up the fall portion of their schedule with the first two rounds of the PAC Championships, set for Oct. 13-14 at Avalon Lakes Golf Club. The Tomcats finished eighth at last year's PAC Championships.

Women's Schedule Highlights

The women's team opens fall play at the YSU Fall Kickoff, a two-day event hosted at Mill Creek North on Aug. 31-Sept. 1. Thiel then returns home to host the Thiel Invitational on Sept. 6 at Avalon at Buhl, where the Tomcats placed third in 2024.

Thiel will compete in the Saint Vincent Invitational at Latrobe Country Club on Sept. 15, followed by the Westminster Invitational on a date to be determined.

Like the men, the women will play in the Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Invitational at The Country Club of Meadville on Sept. 21-22. The Blue and Gold conclude their fall regular season at the Grove City Invitational on Oct. 6 at Grove City Country Club.

The women's fall concludes with the first two rounds of the PAC Championships, which will take place Oct. 13-14 at Avalon at Squaw Creek. The Tomcats placed fourth at last season's PAC Championships.
