CANONSBURG, Pa. -- The Thiel College Women's Golf team placed fourth in the Peter C. Rossin Invitational hosted by Washington and Jefferson College Monday at Southpointe Golf Club.
The Tomcats finished with 403 strokes, just six behind Geneva College and 14 in front of Grove City College.
Alaina Harpst (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) finished with 94 strokes, going 22 above par and tying for ninth place. She had four pars on the day, two in each set of nines.
Emily Eutsey (Jones Mills, Pa./Mount Pleasant) finished in the top 15 with 98 strokes, going 26 above par. She had two pars on the day, one in each set of nines.
Taylor Susany (Struthers, Ohio/Struthers) shot a 105 on the day, going 33 above par where she placed in the 21st spot.
Right behind Susany, Kelsi Hefner (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) placed in the 22nd spot with 106 strokes. She was 34 over par and had one par in the third round.
Megan Bull (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) placed 32nd and shot a 133.
The Tomcats are back in action Saturday, April 12 at the Westminster Spring Invitational at the Avalon Field Club in New Castle, Pa.
