BOARDMAN, Ohio (April 25) -- The Thiel College Women's Golf team is in fourth place after round three of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships from Millcreek Golf Course-North in Boardman, Ohio.

The PAC Women's Golf Championships features a 72-hole stroke play event, beginning with 36 holes played in the fall from Avalon at Squaw Creek in Vienna, Ohio and the final 36 holes played in the spring at Millcreek Golf Course-North.

The Tomcats logged 364 strokes on the day, their lowest round of the tournament. Thiel shot a 77-over on the day, which was one stroke behind Allegheny. The Blue and Gold sit at +255 over the first three rounds while Grove City is fifth at +300. 

Alaina Harpst (Greenville, Pa./Greenville), an All-PAC Second Team honoree last season, is tied for ninth in the 39-golfer championship. She carded a team-best 87 strokes to shoot +17. Harpst posted five pars, including 3 of the last 4 holes on the front nine, and she finished with nine bogeys on the day. 

Kelsi Hefner (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) shot an 89 to log a championship-best 13-stroke round-over-round improvement from round two when she totaled 102 strokes. Hefner is 22nd in the field as she birdied the par-three eighth and parred six holes for the round.

Taylor Susany (Struthers, Ohio/Struthers) is 17th in the championship as she shot a 90 on the day. She totaled 45 strokes in each of the front and back nines while logging three pars in each nine. 

Emily Eutsey (Jones Mills, Pa./Mount Pleasant) is 21st in the field after shooting a 98 and posting a birdie on the par-three 14th. Megan Bull (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) is 35th after shooting a 110 with a par on the par-three eighth. 

The Tomcats continue play in the final round of the PAC Championships tomorrow at 10 a.m. from Millcreek Golf Course-North.
