CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. (April 10, 2010) – The Thiel College baseball team had a rough go of things Saturday afternoon, suffering a doubleheader sweep at the hands of the Thomas More Saints by scores of 15-6 and 22-1.
Thomas More (13-9; 2-0 PAC) outhit the Tomcats 36-to-20 on the day, while the Thiel defense did itself no favors by committing seven errors in the twinbill.

Phil Double (Evans City, Pa./Seneca Valley) and designated hitter Jarrod Nanna each racked up three hits on the day. Double scored a run and drove in one more; Nanna scored two runs with one RBI.
Starting pitchers
Josh Russell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks) (2-2) and
Brad Bates (Kinsman, Ohio/Badger) (3-2) were saddled with the losses.
The Tomcats (11-12; 4-7) complete their season series with the Saints with a noon game Sunday at Thomas More Field.
