GREENVILLE, Pa. (Aug. 17) -- Thiel College Women's Volleyball head coach
Luke Visgitis announced the Tomcats' 2026 schedule Monday morning. Coming off a 17-win campaign and an appearance in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournament semifinals, the Tomcats enter 2026 looking to build on last season's success under Visgitis, who enters his first season at the helm of the program following his promotion to the role earlier this month.
Thiel's 2026 slate features 22 matches, including seven contests on Maenpa Court. The Tomcats will open the season with back-to-back tournament weekends before turning their attention toward PAC competition.

Sept. 25: PAC opener at Waynesburg

Oct. 3-14: Four-match homestand
with clashes against Saint Vincent, Hiram (Oct. 7), Franciscan (Oct. 10) and defending PAC champs Grove City (Oct. 14)
Oct. 24: Showdown at newest PAC member Saint Francis
Oct. 31 - Nov. 3: Two-match homestand against W&J (Oct. 31) and Allegheny (Nov. 3)
Nov. 5: Tri at Muskingum against Marietta and the host Muskies
Nov. 7: Regular season finale at Bethany
Nov. 10-14: PAC Championship Tournament

"We're really excited about this group and the schedule we've put together for this season," Visgitis said. "We have a team that's hungry and confident in what we can accomplish. Our team has a tremendous level of talent with returning players and newcomers all going to make an impact. We're going to challenge ourselves early, compete against some really good programs and be ready when conference play arrives. Our expectations are high, and we believe we have the talent and mentality to compete with anyone on our schedule."

PROSPECTUS
Expectations are high for the 2026 Tomcats following last season's PAC semifinal appearance. Returning players include All-PAC First Team standout Arin DeLattre (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) as well as starters Lyndzee Amory (Edinboro, Pa./Saegertown) and Caitlin Stephens (West Middlesex, Pa./West Middlesex). There are 10 program newcomers, including seven freshmen and three transfers.
Visgitis takes over the program after serving as Thiel's associate head coach in 2025, when he helped guide the Cats through one of their strongest campaigns in recent years. With a challenging non-conference slate designed to prepare the Tomcats for the PAC race, Thiel will look to establish itself as a contender for a return trip to the conference postseason in 2026.
