Walters unveils 2026 Women's Soccer slate

GREENVILLE, Pa. (July 21) -- Thiel College Director of Soccer Zack Walters announced the Tomcats' 2026 Women's Soccer schedule Tuesday morning. Entering his first season at the helm of the women's program and seventh season as a Thiel head coach, Walters looks to begin the rebuilding process and build a competitive foundation as the Tomcats aim to make strides in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC).

The Tomcats' schedule features 18 matches, with 10 clashes at Alumni Stadium. Thiel will look to build momentum early in non-conference action before turning its attention to the PAC race with 12 league showdowns.

Key Dates
Sept. 2 -- Season opener at home against La Roche
Sept. 6 -- Road opener at Penn State Beaver
Sept. 12 -- Senior Night against Hilbert
Sept. 15 -- PAC opener at Westminster
Sept. 22 -- PAC home opener against Grove City
Oct. 14 and 17 -- Two-game homestand against Geneva and Waynesburg

Quote from Coach
"Year one is about establishing an identity based around our three core pillars: respect, accountability and passion," Walters said. "We want to be a team that competes for 90 minutes, supports one another and takes pride in representing Thiel. Our players have attacked every challenge this offseason with a great attitude, and I believe that commitment will translate into a more competitive team this fall."
