TRAFFORD, Pa. (Aug. 21) -- Thiel College Women's Soccer players Imogen deBlois (Hubbard, Ohio/Howland), Ashley Ross (Springdale, Pa./Springdale), Liz Scheeff (Olmsted Falls, Ohio/Olmsted Falls) and Natalie Sprague (Olmsted Falls, Ohio/Olmsted Falls) were named Players to Watch for the upcoming 2026 season by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Friday afternoon.
A junior, deBlois enters the 2026 campaign tied for second in program history in goals per game (0.38) and second in points per game (0.91), is sixth in goals (13) and tied for eighth in points (31). In 2025 she earned All-PAC Honorable Mention and College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Honors.
In her freshman season, deBlois earned All-PAC Second team and Newcomer of the Week twice.
Ross, a junior, appeared in and started 13 games, scored two goals, one against Chatham and one against Bethany, and recorded 10 shots, including eight on goal. She earned post season PAC academic honor roll honors.
Scheeff joins the Tomcats after a decorated four-year career at Olmsted Falls, where she was a three-year varsity captain. She earned Greater Cleveland First Team honors, All-Southwest Conference First Team recognition and multiple second-team honors.
Scheeff helped Olmsted Falls win district and regional championships in 2025 and a regional championship in 2024. She also set the school's single-game record with four assists and was a four-time Scholar Athlete.
Alongside Scheeff, Sprague joins Thiel after a decorated four-year career at Olmsted Falls, where she earned All-Southwest Conference First Team honors as a senior after previously earning Second Team and Honorable Mention recognition. She was also a two-time All-Greater Cleveland Honorable Mention and Morning Journal All-Star Honorable Mention selection.
A senior captain and junior team MVP, Sprague finished her career with 15 goals and nine assists. She helped Olmsted Falls reach the district championship as a junior and win the first district title in program history as a senior.
At the club level, Scheeff and Sprague played for West Side Stars and helped the team win the 2025 US Club Soccer National Cup championship.
The Tomcats open their 2026 season at home hosting the La Roche Red Hawks on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 7:30 p.m.
