STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (March 28) -- The Thiel College Men's Lacrosse team fell 20-5 at Franciscan University Saturday evening in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) clash from Trinity Health System Field.
The Tomcats dip to 2-8 (1-2) while the Barons rise to 4-6 (1-2).
Joey King (Cooperstown, Pa./Maplewood) paced the Thiel offense with a three-goal, one-assist effort. He snagged a trio of ground balls and caused one turnover.
Hunter Crouse (Lyndhurst, Ohio/Charles F. Brush) and
Logan Millie (Fairview, Pa./Fairview) each netted a goal in the loss.
Dom Baker (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) snagged eight ground balls, caused three turnovers and dished out one helper.
Austin Parker (Titusville, Pa./Maplewood) won 12 faceoffs and corralled a team-best nine ground balls.Â
Ethan Narby (Bath, N.Y./Haverling) made 16 saves in goal and grabbed six ground balls.Â
Thiel is back in action Wednesday for a 7 p.m. home clash with W&J.
