GREENVILLE, Pa. (Sept. 11) -- Thiel College Men's Lacrosse head coach Alex Skvarch has resigned from his position to accept a coaching position at Denison University.

Skvarch departs Thiel after leading the Tomcats for the last three seasons.

"We appreciate Alex's leadership and commitment to Thiel College and our men's lacrosse student-athletes during his time leading the program," Director of Athletics Isaac Collins said. "We thank Alex for his service to Thiel and wish him and his family the very best in their next chapter."

A national search is underway for the next leader of the Tomcat Men's Lacrosse program.

"We will look for a leader who is committed to recruiting and retaining student-athletes who are a strong fit for Thiel, developing them academically and athletically, building a strong team culture and positioning Thiel Men's Lacrosse for long-term success," Collins said.
