Box Score BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (March 19) -- The Thiel College Men's Tennis dropped a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) clash at Geneva College 6-1 Wednesday evening from Blackhawk Courts.

The Tomcats dip to 0-5 (0-1) while the Golden Tornadoes rise to 3-1 (1-0).

Tyrus Horton (Fuquay Varina, N.C./Athens Drive) posted a come-from-behind victory at No. 1 singles. Horton dropped the first set 6-2 before coming back with a 7-6 (7-4) tiebreak win in set two and a 10-8 set-three win.

Bret Vilage (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) had a strong showing at No. 2 singles, but ultimately fell 6-2, 6-4. Trey Grazier (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) took a game at No. 3 singles while Pierson Badowski (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) had a pair of game wins at No. 4 singles.  

Thiel is back in action Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. PAC showdown at Westminster.
