MORGANTOWN, W. Va. -- The Thiel College Men's Outdoor Track and Field teams competed at the PAC Championships held at West Virginia University all day Thursday and Friday.  

Thiel's men's team placed 10th out of 11 schools with 14 points.  

On day one, there were three official events that took place in the field and on the track. 

In the 3000m steeplechase, Andrew Yocum (Boardman, Ohio/Boardman) placed 16th with a time of 11:54.47. 

Zack Loeser (Long Island, N.Y./Rocky Point) and Adam Spaulding (Sharpsville, Pa./) both hit PRs in the triple jump. Loeser placed 12th with 12.06m and Spaulding followed in 13th with 11.66m.  

In the javelin throw, Nicholas Kobielus (West Middlesex, Pa./West Middlesex Area) threw 48.16m and placed seventh out of 25.  

Due to weather delays, the 10000m run was pushed to day two of competition.  

On day two, more athletes competed in 11 events on the track and in the field.  

Spaulding placed fifth in the high jump with 1.81m and Loeser took home seventh place with 1.76m. 

Nathaniel Turner (Conneaut Lake, Pa./Conneaut Area) ran a 35:44.06 in the 10000m to take 11th place.  

In the 4x100m relay, Logan Smith (Girard, Pa./Girard), John Bresnan (Greenville, Pa./Reynolds), Khalil Holmes (Bedford, Ohio/) and Xavier Jenkins (Baltimore, Md./Wakefield) ran a season best 43.79 and placed seventh.  

In the 1500m run, Cooper Riley (Jamestown, Pa./Jamestown) ran a personal best 4:37.87 to place in the 21st spot. Yocum placed 24th with a time of 4:55.89. 

In the 400m dash, Smith placed highest for Thiel at 14th with a time of 54.89. Brady Wear (Kinsman, Ohio/) ran a personal best of 54.89 and placed 15th while Griffin Fraterrigo (Scotia, N.Y./) came in 19th with 56.70. 

In the 200m dash, Jenkins placed 19th with a time of 23.76 and Fraterrigo placed 24 with a time of 26.17.  

In the 5000m run, Turner and Riley placed 23rd and 24th respectively with times of 17:45.42 and 17:54.66. 

In the long jump, Jenkins placed sixth with 6.34m. Loeser and Holmes hit a personal best with 5.71m (Loeser) and 5.66m (Holmes). Fraterrigo placed 24th and Spaulding took home 25th.  

In the discus throw, Cadin Rex (Shippenville, Pa./) placed 15th, Carson Dombroski (DuBois, Pa./DuBois) placed 17th, Jacob Fraley (Cumberland, Md./Allegany) took home 20th and Keith Rager (Derry, Pa./) placed 26th.  

In the shot put, Kobielus threw 12.30m to come in 11th place. Dombroski placed 19th with a personal best of 10.78m, Rex placed 26th, Noah Glunk (Ligonier, Pa./) placed 28th and Joseph Vagnier (New Kensington, Pa./) took home 29th.  

In the 4x400m relay, Smith, Wear, Bresnan, and Fraterrigo took home ninth place and a season's best with a time of 3:37.02
