SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- The Thiel College Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Team competed at the Dave Labor Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock University Friday and Saturday in Slippery Rock, Pa.  

Below are the Women's events 

Lillianna Briscoe (Beaver Falls, Pa./Quigley Catholic) placed 20th in the 400m dash with a time of 1:04.60 and 26th in the 800m with a time of 2:27.74. 

Marissa Tiber (Burton, Ohio/Berkshire) placed 23rd in the 100m hurdles with a time of 18.55. 

Sha'nia Stiers-Royal (Austintown, Ohio/Austintown-Fitch) placed 19th in high jump with 1.45m and 30th in long jump with 4.41m. 

Alexis McFadden (Kennerdell, Pa./Franklin Area) placed 11th in triple jump with 10.37m and 21st in the long jump with 4.71m.  

Cydney Wierzbowski (Derry, Pa./Derry) placed 8th in discuss throw with 28.54m, while Kaylee Bensink (Wattsburg, Pa./Seneca) placed 38th with 22.61m.  

Wierzbowski placed 26th in shot put with 8.30m and Brooke Mottley (Rock Creek, Ohio/Geneva) placed 28th with 7.97m.  

Brooke Griffith (Chicora, Pa./Karns City) placed 17th in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 14:02.46. 

Below are the Men's events 

Adam Spaulding (Sharpsville, Pa./) placed 8th in the high jump with 1.90m and Zack Loeser (Long Island, N.Y./Rocky Point) placed 16th with 1.80m.  

Xavier Jenkins placed 16th in the long jump with 6.30m. 

Keith Rager (Derry, Pa./) placed 23rd in the discuss throw with 32.34 and Noah Glunk (Ligonier, Pa./) finished in 24th with 31.70m.  

Nicholas Kobielus (West Middlesex, Pa./West Middlesex Area) placed 12th in the javelin throw with 48.42m.  

Rager also placed 23rd in the shot put with 10.85m, while Cadin Rex (Shippenville, Pa./) placed 25th with 10.76m.  

Nathaniel Turner (Conneaut Lake, Pa./Conneaut Area) placed 36th in the 5000m run with a time of 17:06.78.  

Brady Wear (Kinsman, Ohio/) placed 44th in the 400m with a time of 56.05 and Griffin Fraterrigo (Scotia, N.Y./) placed 45th with a time of 56.48. 

John Bresnan (Greenville, Pa./Reynolds) placed 33rd in the 200m with a time of 23.79 and Logan Smith (Girard, Pa./Girard) placed 35th with a time of 23.91. 

The Tomcats are back in action on Saturday, April 12 when they travel to New Wilmington, Pa. to compete at the Westminster Invitational.
