GREENVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 31) -- Thiel College Director of Athletic Isaac Collins announced today a change in leadership for its women's lacrosse program. The College will immediately begin a national search for the next head coach to guide the Tomcats into the future.

"We thank Coach Wightman for his efforts and commitment to our student-athletes," Collins said. "We're excited about the direction of the program and remain dedicated to providing our women's lacrosse student-athletes with an outstanding experience both on and off the field."

Assistant coach Marina Adelizzio will serve as the interim head coach of the Tomcats until a new leader is selected to ensure continued support for the team's student-athletes.

Adelizzio is entering her third season in Greenville. She served as an assistant coach in each of the past two seasons.

Thiel College is committed to the growth of women's lacrosse and looks forward to building upon the strong foundation that has been established.
