BRADFORD, Pa. (March 21) -- The Thiel College Women's Lacrosse team fell 17-6 at non-conference foe Pitt Bradford Saturday afternoon from Rathburn Family Field.
The Tomcats drop to 0-6 while the Panthers rise to 5-3.
Hayden Wightman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) and
Camille Turner (Conneaut Lake, Pa./Conneaut Area) paced the Thiel offense with a pair of goals each. Wightman snagged a pair of ground balls while Turner had a team-best four draw controls and one ground ball and caused turnover each.
Neva Radovich (Sarver, Pa./Knoch) netted her first collegiate goal in the clash.
Makayla Flock (Greensburg, Pa./Greensburg Salem) also added a goal.
Shayla Foster (East Liverpool, Ohio/East Liverpool) had a game-high-tying four ground balls.
Edith Lithkousky (Carthage, N.Y./Carthage Central) made 11 saves in goal.
Thiel is back in action Wednesday at 4 p.m. for a home Presidents' Athletic Conference clash against W&J.
