WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Thiel College men's tennis team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on the road Tuesday to the Washington & Jefferson Presidents, 9-0.
 
Abhinav Yarramaneni and Nick Bussard defeated Thiel's Bret Vilage (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) and Takafumi Sasazaki (Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan/Hozen) 8-2 at second doubles.
 
Yarramaneni bested Vilage 6-2, 6-0 at third singles while Nate Clarke topped Sasazaki 6-2, 6-0 at fourth singles. At sixth singles, Connor Simms defeated Ethan Tabaka (Hermitage, Pa./West Middlesex) 6-2, 6-0.
 
Thiel is scheduled to host Allegheny Friday. The PAC match will begin at 5 p.m.
