GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's tennis team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match Saturday to the Franciscan Barons, 9-0.
 
Franciscan's Samuel Sabol and Callan Hecton defeated Bret Vilage (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) and Takafumi Sasazaki (Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan/Hozen) 8-4 at second doubles.
 
Franciscan's Travis Mistry topped Eli Flinchbaugh (Oil City, Pa./Oil City) 6-4, 6-2 at first singles. Hecton bested Sasazaki 6-2, 6-4 at fourth singles.
 
The Tomcats will host the Allegheny Gators Sunday. The PAC match will start at noon.
