BEAVER FALLS, Pa. – The Thiel College men's tennis team lost its Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opener Monday on the road to the Geneva Golden Tornadoes, 9-0.
David Clark and Owen Landis defeated
Bret Vilage (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) and
Takafumi Sasazaki (Otaru, Hokkaido, Japan/Hozen) at second doubles, 8-5.
Clark topped Vilage at third singles 6-4, 6-1. Landis edged Sasazaki 7-6 (8-6), 6-1 at fourth singles.
The Tomcats will host the Grove City Wolverines on Thursday, April 4. The PAC match will begin at 3:30 p.m.
