GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's tennis team lost a non-conference match to the Penn State Behrend Lion, 6-1, Thursday afternoon.
The Lions defaulted the first two doubles matches, giving the Tomcats the doubles point.
Nate Udell fell at first singles to Jon Laier 6-0, 6-1.
Bret Vilage (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) fell to Owen Sinnott 6-2, 6-4 at second singles, while Sasazaki Takafumi fell at third singles to Graham Louis 6-0, 6-1.
Evan Cessna (Kittanning, Pa./West Shamokin) fell to Aiden Piazza 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles.
The Tomcats close out the fall season against Brevard College on Friday, October 18. The match is slated to begin at 10 a.m.
