GREENVILLE, Pa. – Thiel College senior Peyton Hearn (Conneaut, Pa./Conneaut Area) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Wrestler of the Week on Monday.
 
Hearn helped the Tomcats go 4-1 overall and 1-0 in PAC action last week with a 5-0 record. On Tuesday, Hearn defeated Nicholas Montalbano by major decision (10-1) to help the Tomcats secure a 43-10 PAC win over the Washington & Jefferson Presidents.
 
On Saturday, Hearn went 4-0 at the Dr. Si Ostrach Duals, hosted by Case Western Reserve. At 149, he won by technical fall (20-2) over Albion's Max Honiss. He also defeated Adrian's Blaise Kokkales by technical fall (18-0). Hearn won by major decision (9-1) over Penn's Noah Hunt before pinning Defiance's Shamique Bryant in 1:50.
 
Hearn was also named the PAC Wrestler of the Week on Nov. 21 after going 4-0 and winning the 157-pound bracket at the Baldwin Wallace Invitational.
 
The Tomcats will face the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets on the road on Friday. The PAC match is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
