ERIE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's tennis team lost a non-conference match Friday 8-1 to the Penn State Behrend Lions at the Westwood Racquet Club.
 
Noah Brieck (Kensington, Ohio/United Local) led the Tomcats with a win at No. 4 singles, defeating Max Lu 0-6, 6-0, 10-6. Lu and Mason Harbaugh edged Brieck and freshman Nathaniel Udell (Meadowbrook, Pa./Abington) at second doubles, 8-6.
 
Thiel will face the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets on the road on Wednesday. The non-conference match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
