GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) announced on Saturday that
Ahmad Tejumola (Waldorf, Md./Saint Charles) was named a PAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Scholar Athlete of the Month for January.
In seven January games, Tejumola averaged 15.7 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 32.3 minutes per game. From the field, he shot 50 percent (42-84) and had three double-doubles, including a 27-point, 10-rebound effort in an 88-77 win over Franciscan on January 24.
Tejumola leads the PAC with 12 double-doubles on the season, which ranks tied for 27th in NCAA Division III. He also leads the conference with 11.5 rebounds per game and ranks 12th in points per game with 13.2.
Tejumola was also recently named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 4 First Team for the second-consecutive season and was named to the All-PAC Second Team following the 2020-21 season.
A psychology major, Tejumola holds a 3.82 cumulative grade-point average. He has been named to the Dean's List six times and the PAC Academic Honor Roll three times.
Tejumola and the Tomcats ended the season on a five-game winning streak and will travel to Westminster to take on the Titans in the Quarterfinal round of the PAC Championship Tournament on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
