GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) named Devin Weisbarth (Akron, Ohio/Norton) the PAC Defensive Player, Goalkeeper of the Week for the week of Sept. 7-12 on Monday.
Weisbarth recorded 24 saves and allowed just three goals in three games (290 minutes) last week. Against Hiram, he tallied 11 saves and a shutout in a double overtime draw. It was Weisbarth's third career shutout.
Weisbarth leads the PAC in saves (42) and saves per game (8.40). He is also third in the PAC in save percentage (.824).
Weisbarth and the men's soccer team are back in action at home against Penn State Altoona on Thursday. The non-conference match is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
