SHARON, Pa. – The Thiel College Department of Athletics and the Blue-Gold Club held its annual Blue-Gold Golf Outing Monday at Avalon at Buhl.
 
One hundred and five alumni, faculty, staff and friends of Thiel College athletics made up 27 teams at the event.
 
The winning team was comprised of John Hudson, Rod Wilt, Mike Kelly and Tyler Gargano (-10). Damon Dohar, Tim Porter and TJ Kowiowsky finished second (-9) while the team of Reid Canady, Will Woods, Doug Dunlap and Kevin Pieton finished third (-8, scorecard playoff).
 
"It was great to see everyone at our first major event since the pandemic began more than a year ago," said Director of Athletics Amy Schafer. "I want to thank our sponsors as well as those who golfed and worked the event."
