GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Thiel College men's tennis team concluded their 2019 regular season on Thursday with an 8-1 nonconference loss to Medaille College.
Medaille collected three straight wins as Jacob White of Medaille defeated
Cole Duskey (Orrville, Ohio/Orrville) 6-3, 6-1 in first singles, Marcos Lerma defeated
Connor Swatts (Greenwood, Ind./Whiteland Community) 6-0, 6-4 in second singles, and Albert Morales defeated
Trent Brady (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) 6-4, 6-1 in third singles.
Thiel's lone win of the day came from
Tyler Feciuch (Kent, Ohio/Field) in fourth singles as he defeated Matthew Burke 6-2, 6-2 to take the match.
Thiel went winless in three doubles matches to fall to Medaille 8-1.
The Tomcats are back in action for the first round of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships as they face first-seeded Washington and Jefferson College on Tuesday in Washington, Pa., first serve is set for 4 p.m.
