GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's tennis team lost a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match to the Washington & Jefferson Presidents Thursday, 8-1.
Tyler Novak (Oberlin, Ohio/Open Door Christian) led the Tomcats with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Ruchir Gupta at sixth singles.
Tyler Feciuch (Kent, Ohio/Field) and
Christian Conrad (Barberton, Ohio/Central Catholic) lost 8-4 to Gupta and Josh Hnat at third doubles.
Connor Swatts (Greenwood, Ind./Whiteland Community) lost 6-3, 6-0 at third singles to Stephen Mehlbaum while
Cole Duskey (Orrville, Ohio/Orrville) lost a 6-2, 6-0 decision to Sam Bellini at second singles.
Thiel will take on Pitt Greensburg on the road Friday. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
