GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Thiel College men's tennis team was defeated 9-0 Friday in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match against the Saint Vincent Bearcats at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
 
For Thiel, Connor Swatts (Greenwood, Ind./Whiteland Community) was defeated 6-1, 6-1 by Zach Fox at No. 4 singles while Eric Mitchell (Barberton, Ohio/Barberton) was also defeated 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles by Riley Maruca.
 
In doubles action, Christian Conrad (Barberton, Ohio/Central Catholic) and Tyler Feciuch (Kent, Ohio/Field) suffered an 8-3 loss to Luke Good and Alex DeLuca at No. 3 doubles.
 
The Tomcats will return to action Saturday when they take on the Westminster Titans on the road. The PAC match is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
