GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Thiel College men's tennis team was defeated in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play Saturday by the W&J Presidents 9-0 at Grove City, Pa.
 
Cole Duskey (Orrville, Ohio/Orrville) kept his No. 1 singles match close against Micah Byrum but fell 6-3, 6-2. Alex Horvatits (Lancaster, N.Y./Saint Mary's) also kept his No. 4 singles match against Stephen Mehlbaum close but lost 6-3, 6-1.
 
Duskey and Raymond Bullis (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) were defeated 8-2 at No. 1 doubles while Horvatits and Nick Peroni (Pittsburgh, Pa./Canon-McMillan) lost 8-2 at No. 2 doubles.
 
The Tomcats will host the Geneva Golden Tornadoes Tuesday. The PAC match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
