GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's tennis team suffered a 7-2 non-conference loss Wednesday at home to the Mount Aloysius Mounties.
Cole Duskey (Orrville, Ohio/Orrville) paced the Tomcats in the match with a 10-3 win at No. 1 singles over Nick Goldyn. Also,
Nick Peroni (Pittsburgh, Pa./Canon-McMillan) and
Christian Conrad (Barberton, Ohio/Central Catholic) defeated Dylan Matta and Jalen Terry 8-6 at No. 3 doubles.
Raymond Bullis (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) and
Alex Horvatits (Lancaster, N.Y./Saint Mary's) both battled in their No. 2 and No. 5 singles matches but fell by scores of 10-7 and 10-6 respectively.
The Tomcats will return to action Thursday when they take on the Penn State Behrend Lions on the road. The non-conference match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
