GREENSBURG, Pa. – The Thiel College men's tennis team opened its 2017 season Thursday with a 9-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss to the Saint Vincent Bearcats at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
 
Cole Duskey (Orrville, Ohio/Orrville) and Raymond Bullis (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) lost to Jonathan Prichard and Ryan Hartz 8-2 at No. 1 doubles. Also for the Tomcats, Nick Peroni (Pittsburgh, Pa./Canon-McMillan) suffered a 6-1, 6-1 loss to Scott Reichard at No. 3 singles.
 
The Tomcats are scheduled to return to action Tuesday when they take on the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets on the road. The PAC match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
