GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's and women's basketball teams will open play in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championship Tournaments tonight and Tuesday night.
Seeded eighth in the tournament, Thiel's women's team will travel to Grove City tonight to face the fifth-seeded Wolverines at 6 p.m. in the first round of the tournament. Fans can follow live stats of the game by clicking

Grove City went 2-0 against Thiel in the regular season, winning by scores of 67-55 and 66-34. In the first game, Tomcat junior forward
Jaclyn Watkins (Aliquippa, Pa./Aliquippa) recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds while freshman
Brijae Journee (Cleveland, Ohio/Villa-Angela St. Joseph) came off the bench to add nine points and five assists. Kathryn Erbelding led Grove City in the first game with 22 points, nine rebounds and eight steals.
Watkins came close to another double-double in Thiel's loss to Grove City on Saturday, Feb. 21 with nine points and 11 rebounds. Cayley McClean led the Wolverines with 10 points.
Thiel's fifth-seeded men's team will travel to Crestview Hills, Ky. to take on the fourth-seeded Thomas More Saints Tuesday at 7 p.m. Fans can follow live stats of the game by clicking

Thiel and Thomas More split their season series with each team winning on the road. The Tomcats won the first game 84-82 but Thomas More won the second game 78-73.
In their first meeting this season,
Eric Mallinger (Pittsburgh, Pa./Taylor Allderdice) led the Tomcats with 20 points and eight rebounds while
Khari Bess (Waldorf, Md./Maurice J. McDonough) scored 15 points and added five steals.
Luke Kochka (Monroeville, Pa. /Gateway) also chipped in 19 points off the bench. Nate McGovney paced the Saints with 20 points and five rebounds.
McGovney led the Saints with 22 points, 12 of which came from three-point range, in the second game. Jalen Clark and Drew Mumford also added 18 and 13 points, respectively. Mallinger had a double-double in the second game with 17 points and 12 rebounds while freshman guard
Tyreik Burton (Lewes, Del./Cape Henlopen) scored 16 points after earning his first start of the season.
