LATROBE, Pa. – The Thiel College men's tennis team opened up Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play on Thursday, when the Tomcats traveled to Saint Vincent to face the Bearcats. The Tomcats fell to a tough SVC team 9-0.
 
Thiel (5-4, 0-1) got respectable performances from their number two and three doubles pairs, who put up solid fights against their respective opponents before both falling 8-4. Saint Vincent improved to 3-3 on the year and 2-0 in PAC action.
 
The Tomcats return to the courts on Saturday, March 23, when they take on Westminster College at the Trumbull Tennis Center in Warren, Ohio. The match is set to start at 1 p.m.
