GREEN, Ohio – The Thiel College men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss Saturday to Malone University.
 
In doubles play, Thiel's Logan Sturgeon and Shun Kogai (Tokyo, Japan/) lost a close 8-5 decision to Andrew Hill and Vladyslav Dyenyezhka.
 
Richard Parks (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills) lost a close match at No. 1 singles (6-4, 6-2) to Youssef Sonbaty while Sturgeon lost at No. 3 singles to Dyenyezhka (6-2, 6-3).
 
The Tomcats (4-3) will be back in action Sunday when they host Muskingum University at the Westwood Racquet Club in Erie, Pa. at 12:30 p.m.
