GREENVILLE, Pa. – Richard Parks (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills) won at first singles and teamed with Collin McAndrew (Dayton, Ohio/General McLane) at first doubles in the Tomcats' 6-3 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) victory over visiting Bethany College Wednesday afternoon.

Parks picked up his third win of the season with his 6-2, 6-2 victory over Jared Patrick. The duo of Parks and McAndrew improved to 4-5 with their 8-6 win over Patrick and James Peterson.

Jian Long Zheng (Fujian, China/Quanzhou ZianDi ) was also a double winner, posting a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Jared Roque at fourth singles and partnered with D.J. Dunlevy (Marbury, Md./Henry E. Lackey) at second doubles to win 8-2 over Roque and Tyler Rhodes at second doubles.

Thiel (4-5, 1-0) went into the singles matches with a 2-1 advantage before Bethany (1-1, 0-1) used wins at second and third singles to tie it at 3-3 after three singles flights. The Tomcats picked up wins in the final three singles matches to secure the 6-3 victory.

The Tomcats are scheduled to return to action at home on Tuesday, March 26 against PAC rival Grove City College (4 p.m.)
