LATROBE, Pa. -- The Tomcat men's tennis team was defeated by a score of 6-3 by PAC opponent Saint Vincent on Saturday in Latrobe.

The Bearcats defeated Thiel in #1 sinlges, #2 sinlgles, #3 singles, #5 singles, and #1 and #2 doubles.

For the Tomcats, freshman Zach Kubec (Geneva, Ohio, Geneva) picked up a victory in #4 singles (2-6, 6-3, 10-7); Brad Schell (Linesville, Pa., Conneaut) defeated Ben Clark in #6 singles (6-1, 6-0) and the pair of Kirt Strock (Zanesville, Ohio, Tri-Valley) and Josh Bartsch (Pittsburgh, Pa., The Kiski School) defeated the #3 doubles pair of Shawn Lehman and Ben Clark by a score of 9-8.

Thiel (0-10) will resume play on Sunday April 10 when they play host to Mount Aloysius College. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
