GREENVILLE, Pa. – The men's tennis squad was dealt an 8-1 loss Tuesday by the University of Mount Union at the Thiel Tennis Courts.

Shun Kogai (Tokyo, Japan/) picked up the lone singles victory for the Tomcats, defeating the Purple Raiders' Noalla Ritamura at sixth singles 6-4, 6-4.

Thiel will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 8 when they host the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg at 8 a.m., Frostburg State University at 11:30 a.m., and Capital University at 3:30 p.m.
