"We are grateful to Eric for his dedication to Thiel College and our women's volleyball program," Collins said. "We appreciate the time and energy he invested in our student-athletes and wish him nothing but success as he pursues new opportunities that align with his future goals. We thank Eric for his contributions to Thiel Athletics and wish him the very best in the next chapter of his coaching career."
Eric Visgitis spent the 2025 season as the head coach of the Tomcats, leading the program to a semifinal appearance in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship Tournament before falling to eventual conference champion Grove City. Prior to serving as head coach, he was an assistant coach for the Thiel men's and women's volleyball programs during the 2024-25 academic year.
