GREENVILLE, Pa. (April 15) -- The Thiel College Men's Tennis team fell 7-0 to Franciscan University from Tomcat Tennis Courts in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) to cap the 2025-26 season.

The Tomcats end the season at 0-12 (0-8) while the Barons rise to 5-12 (3-3).

Bret Vilage (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) had a strong showing in set one at No. 2 singles but ultimately fell 6-4, 6-1. Tyrus Horton (Fuquay Varina, N.C./Athens Drive) won a trio of set-two games but fell 6-0, 6-3. Vilage and Horton had a good showing at No. 1 doubles but fell 6-3.

Kaleb McDowell (Winchester, Va./James Wood) was honored pregame in a senior day ceremony for his contributions to the Thiel program.
