MEADVILLE, Pa. (April 11) -- The Thiel College Men's Tennis fell to No. 57 Allegheny College 7-0 Saturday afternoon from Robertson Tennis Center in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action.
The Tomcats ip to 0-11 (0-7) while the Gators improve to 13-7 (6-0).
Tyrus Horton (Fuquay Varina, N.C./Athens Drive) and
Bret Vilage (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) each won a game at No's. 1 and 2 singles, respectively, before falling 6-1, 6-0.
Trey Grazier (Pittsburgh, Pa./Shaler) and
Pierson Badowski (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) took a game at No. 2 double but fell 6-1.
Thiel is back in action Tuesday at home against Mount Aloysius at 3 p.m.
